Según rumores el videojuego de acción en mundo abierto, título que ha vendido más de 10 millones de copias en PlayStation 4, tendría una secuela mucho más ambiciosa y realista para llegar al PlayStation 5. Principalmente los puestos de trabajo buscan expertos en animación y vegetación para el desarrollo del mundo abierto. El mismo equipo holandés ha confirmado que existe una vacante principal en sus oficinas: un artista técnico en vegetación. Puesto que da una pista bastante clara de la existencia del hipotético Horizon 2.
En este puesto te encargarás de construir y crear los recursos en forma de vegetación, aquella que se usará para dar vida y vestir el mundo del juego. En Guerrilla, tenemos cuatro equipos dedicados a crear escenarios espectaculares para Horizon, mientras que otro se dedica específicamente a diseñar una vegetación lustrosa y brillante. En este puesto, tendrás el mayor de los lienzos. Trabajarás en escalas grandes, como ciudades, calles y mundos enteros. Para ti, el mundo será tu personaje.
No es de extrañar que Sony busque una secuela de este blockbuster de PlayStation 4. Menos cuando se espera que el PS5 llegue a finales de 2020 con un hardware muy veloz y capaz de ofrecer técnicas de iluminación avanzadas, por lo cual buscarán juegos que exploten esas cualidades. Si bien es cierto que un videojuego del tamaño de Horizon puede tardar un buen par de años de desarrollo, Sony quizás lo quisiera tenerlo listo para el primer aniversario de su nueva consola.
