Ya nos mostraron el trailer en The Game Awards y pudimos ver un poco de sus facultades, pero ahora también sabemos más sobre el primer juego anunciado para la quinta generación de PlayStation, ‘Godfall’. El director creativo de Counterplay Games, Keith Lee, ha brindado más detalle sobre el diseño y funcionamiento del juego.
Según Lee, ‘Godfall’ llevará la acción al límite en una historia llena de saqueos, armaduras y combates. También indica que gracias al SSD súper potente de PlayStation 5, se logra ofrecer un nuevo nivel de detalle para cada objeto individual, así como una carga continua del mundo expansivo. Y al ser ‘Godfall’ un juego de combate de naturaleza kinestésica, los disparadores adaptativos y la retroalimentación háptica «harán que el combate momento a momento se sienta estimulante y visceral».
Todos los jugadores tienen ataques a distancia a su disposición, pero limitados por enfriamientos o cargas. Godfall se enfoca en el fortalecimiento del combate cuerpo a cuerpo. Los jugadores siempre tendrán dos armas cuerpo a cuerpo principales para cambiar durante una misión, ninguna de las cuales tiene un diseño exclusivamente de largo alcance.
