Es por todos sabido la intención de Warner de crear metapelículas y un universo consistente en donde alojar a sus personajes de cómics más icónicos, para ello ha preparado varios crossovers muy grandes como Justice League, y algunos que por el solo hecho de su nombre ya implican una importante cantidad de recursos en licenciamientos. Tal es el caso de la película «en solitario» de Flash: Flashpoint, y es que por si no fuera poco, con lo mucho que los fans del «hombre más rápido del mundo» esperan esta nueva película, Geoff Johns soltó un bombazo en entrevista con EW. Y es que el ahora encargado de darle unidad al universo fílmico de Warner/DC confirmó a la revista que veremos al caballero oscuro en la película.
Si no saben de qué va Flashpoint, es una historia alterna en donde Barry Allen crea una nueva línea del tiempo al salvar a su mamá de ser asesinada (ella no se llama Martha, por aquello). En esta nueva línea temporal tenemos una guerra entre amazonas y atlantes, además de un Batman (aquí suena el redoble de tambores) interpretado por Thomas Wayne luego de que su hijo Bruce decidiera recibir un tiro para salvarlos a él y a su madre, misma razón por la que Martha Wayne se convierte en el joker de esta historia Estas y otras son las razones que convierten a este en un cómic imprescindible para cualquier fan.
Si bien fue confirmada la aparición del personaje, no se ha confirmado aún quién llevará el manto de Batman tanto si hablamos de Bruce como si hablamos de Thomas Wayne. Tampoco tuvimos confirmación de quién interpretará al Caballero de la noche, pero sabemos que tanto Ezra Miller como Jeffrey Dean Morgan quieren que este último repita el rol de Thomas Wayne, pero igualmente no podemos descartar la aparición de Batffleck en la película ¿Ustedes qué esperan de esta aparición?
