A pesar de que aún se desconoce de qué tratarán, un rumor más fuerte indica que el aclamado director y diseñador Hideki Kamiya estaría formando parte de estos dos nuevos videojuegos; y que los mismos se lanzarían muy cercanos a Bayonetta 3, que sale en el 2019.
Este último juego ya estaría prácticamente en su etapa final y podría verse un espectacular avance para la ceremonia de los Game Awards.
En otras entrevistas, Kamiya ha asegurado que está trabajando en un juego de acción que «nos volará la cabeza», así que no deberíamos sorprendernos si se tratara de alguno de los proyectos de Platinum Games, para quienes seguramente continuará trabajando un buen rato.
