Unos de los principales fracasos de Marvel Studios sin duda han sido los Inhumanos. A pesar de que en un inicio se llegaron a plantear para llenar el vacío de los mutantes en el UCM, no lograron llenar las expectativas.
Con el regreso de los mutantes a Marvel tras la compra de Fox, muchos pensaron que sería el fin de la franquicia definitivamente. No obstante, Anson Mount quien interpretó a Black Bolt en la serie, reveló que se está negociando un reinicio de los personajes. Incluso reveló quien podría tomar su lugar.
En una convención de fans en Dallas, Mount dijo lo siguiente a ComicBook.com:
La gente tal vez no sepa esto, pero hay rumores que Disney+ está negociando para reintentar esto (Inhumanos). Aparentemente, se conoce que Vin Diesel siempre ha querido interpretar a Black Bolt, entonces como que las negociaciones ya se están dando.

Los rumores indican que la familia real podría aparecer en el UCM en Ms. Marvel, que empieza filmación a principios del 2020. Mount además afirmó que le gustaría ver a los Inhumanos en acción nuevamente.
Realmente me gustaría ver otra oportunidad para los Inhumanos y que tengan éxito porque me encantaría verlo. Creo que es de lo más interesante del Universo de Marvel y me parece que debe hacerse, con el tono correcto y visión.
