El que faltaba por confirmar en la nueva película ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ era el cazafantasmas principal Bill Murray, del cual se había especulado que sí iba a estar participando en esta secuela pero hasta ahora él mismo confirma la información en una entrevista con la revista Vanity Fair.

Lo mejor de todo es que no solo se trata de un simple cameo, parece que Murray volverá a colocarse el traje que llevaba más de 30 años sin usar y tendrá una participación de peso en la cinta dirigida por Ivan Reitman. El actor confesó que lo que más le llamó la atención fue el guion de esta nueva producción.

También, en tono jocoso, el intérprete de Peter Venkman mencionó que aunque no se note mucho en pantalla, esos trajes y el equipo de los Cazafantasmas suelen ser muy pesados e incómodos de usar, así que espera que en esta aparición lo vaya a usar por poco tiempo, ojalá unos 30 segundos que serían ya definitivamente «los últimos 30 segundos».

El elenco lo completan los veteranos Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts y los recién llegados a la franquicia Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Logan Kim y Paul Rudd.
