Una vez más nos corresponde hacer una nota informando de la muerte de un grande de la industria. Kazuhisa Hashimoto, conocido por ser el creador del código Konami, falleció hace tan solo unas horas, así lo informó el compositor Yuji Takenouchi en su cuenta de Twitter hoy 26 de febrero en horas de la madrugada.
Hashimoto habría creado este código en la primera entrega del juego ‘Gradius’ para Nintendo, debido a que tenía un nivel de dificultad bastante alto. La secuencia permitía a los jugadores acceder a todas las mejoras para poder avanzar mejor en los niveles y por fin así se quedó en la versión final del videojuego.
El código Konami fue usado también en otros juegos como ‘Contra’, de hecho fue en este donde se popularizó más. La secuencia principal está conformada por los comandos arriba, arriba, abajo, abajo, izquierda, derecha, izquierda, derecha, botón B, botón A y Start; lo cual desbloqueaba características o daba muchas vidas adicionales.
Con el tiempo, otros desarrolladores también implementaron el código en juegos como ‘Castlevania’ y ‘Las Tortugas Ninja’, principalmente a manera de tributo a la creación de Hashimoto.
