Sin embargo, el hombre ignora el gran secreto de su esposa, y entonces la familia se verá obligada a lidiar con sus diferencias mágicas y raciales, en medio de mucho humor.
El proyecto fue la última colaboración de Kenya Barris, el creador de Black-ish, con la cadena de televisión abierta de Disney. Días después de que su propuesta para Bewitched fuera aprobada, Barris firmó un contrato de exclusividad con Netflix. El piloto de esta serie ya ha sido ordenado y comenzará su producción muy pronto.
