La Cámara de Distribuidores y Exhibidores Cinematográficos de Costa Rica (CADEC) presentó semanas atrás, como propuesta de excepción a la restricción vehicular sanitaria, la asistencia a ciertas actividades artísticas, entre ellas el cine, que ha comprobado ser una actividad 100% segura para el público y con el compromiso de las empresas exhibidoras de seguir aplicando rigurosamente el protocolo sanitario aprobado por las autoridades gubernamentales.
El Decreto N.° 42297-MOPT-S, de 7 de mayo de 2021, incluyó como excepción a la restricción vehicular sanitaria diurna (entre 5 a.m. y 9 p.m.) los vehículos en que se trasladan las personas que requieran asistir a una sala de cine (o a una actividad cultural que cuente con el permiso sanitario de funcionamiento al día).
Para que aplique la excepción, las personas deberán mostrar un comprobante de compra o reservación digital o físico, que indique el nombre de la persona, la hora de la función y la hora de finalización o duración de la función. Eso sí, los vehículos tendrán que cumplir con la restricción nocturna a partir de las 9 p.m.
Todas las salas de cines asociadas a CADEC cuentan con un estricto protocolo sanitario de altos estándares mundiales, con toma de temperatura, dispensadores de alcohol en gel, demarcación de zonas para el distanciamiento social, aforos reducidos, ingreso y salida de las salas controlado y garantizando la desinfección de áreas comunes, salas, servicios sanitarios y la renovación constante del aire. Las empresas distribuidoras, por su parte, han mantenido los estrenos dando la experiencia de alta calidad en las películas que todo el público costarricense quiere ver en la gran pantalla.
Estudios científicos de prestigiosas universidades alemanas y japonesas han comprobado que el cine es una actividad recreativa y cultural muy segura por los elementos que rodean su desarrollo tales como: es una actividad donde no se socializa ni se conversa, se aplica el distanciamiento social de mejor manera y si no se están consumiendo alimentos se debe estar con el cubrebocas.
