Sony Pictures Japan, prepara un corto animado titulado: Blade Runner Black Out 2022, que servirá como precuela a la esperada secuela de la historia contada por Ridley Scott en 1982; el corto se da unos años después de la primera película, durante un corto de electricidad en la ciudad.
Watanabe dice, en el corto que les compartimos a continuación, que “el trabajo que me ha influenciado más en mi profesión dentro del anime, sería, por supuesto, Blade Runner”.
