El mítico Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) confirmó que la muy esperada película de Breaking Bad ya ha sido grabada.
En una entrevista reciente con el sitio The Hollywood Reporter, Odenkirk comentó:
No sé lo que la gente sabe y lo que no sabe. Me cuesta creer que no sepas que fue filmada. Lo hicieron. ¿Sabes a lo que me refiero? ¿Cómo es eso un secreto? Pero lo es. Han hecho un trabajo increíble al mantenerla en secreto.
Odenkirk continuó diciendo que no puede esperar para ver la película terminada, que se estrenará primeramente en Netflix en 2020.
El pasado mes de febrero, THR informó que la película estará protagonizada por Aaron Paul en su papel de Jesse Pinkman, con el creador de la serie Vince Gilligan asumiendo el papel de escritor y director. Gilligan, Mark Johnson y Melissa Bernstein actuarán como productores ejecutivos.
Odenkirk también dio una actualización sobre la Temporada 5 de la serie Better Call Saul, que aún no tiene una fecha de estreno.
