Cyberpunk 2077 saldrá a la venta el 16 de abril de 2020 para PS4, Xbox One y PC
Poco tiempo después de que Keanu Reeves fuera elegido para su papel en Cyberpunk 2077 e hiciera esa enigmática aparición en el trailer, CD Projekt Red anunció el porqué de esta decisión. Un currículum lleno de personajes rebeldes en proyectos de ciencia ficción hicieron que Reeves fuera una “elección natural”, esto de acuerdo con el Director de Misiones, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz.
El Director de Historia, Marcin Blacha, comentó en una entrevista para Xbox: La Revista Oficial que, siendo Reeves el gran actor que es, inyectó su propia “cosa especial” en el personaje de Johnny Silverhand. Esto sorprendió a todos en CDPR por la capa de complejidad y profundidad que le aportó a Johnny, superando las expectativas de lo que ellos habían imaginado:
“Keanu Reeves tiene una historia de interpretar a personajes que pelean por algo, y Silverhand definitivamente está peleando por algo. O al menos lo hacía en 2020. Cuando pensamos en un actor para este papel, no lo tomamos como ‘quién es la celebridad más grande del momento’ — el actor debía tener una conexión con el personaje, así que tuvo sentido. Cyberpunk 2077 no es un juego sobre Keanu Reeves, es un juego sobre Johnny que es interpretado por Keanu. Creo que es algo que a veces se olvida cuando se hace el casting para juegos.

Keanu es un gran actor, el cual siempre inyectará a sus personajes con un poco de lo que los hace especiales.
