Compartir contraseñas de servicios de streaming es algo muy común en nuestros días. Se suscribe y paga uno, pero lo disfrutan tres, cuatro, cinco o hasta más. Pero Disney+ ya anunció que luchará para evitar que esto suceda.
The Walt Disney Company y Charter Communications anunciaron un nuevo acuerdo en conjunto en el que lucharán contra la piratería. Ya que al parecer, la compañía de Mickey Mouse considera que compartir contraseñas es piratería.
El tema principal del comunicado fue el anuncio de que Charter continuará distribuyendo contenido de Disney para los usuarios de Espectrum, nombre de la compañía que da servicios de internet, cable y telefonía a nombre de Charter. Sin embargo, lo importante para el resto del mundo es lo que dice el siguiente párrafo:
Además, Disney y Charter también acordaron trabajar juntos en la mitigación de la piratería. Ambas compañías trabajarán para implementar reglas y técnicas comerciales para abordar problemas como el acceso no autorizado o el intercambio de contraseñas.
Claro, ninguna de las compañías ha explicado qué método usarán para evitar el uso de contraseñas compartidas, pero varios medios sugieren que uno de ellos podría ser el rastreo de las IP de los usuarios.
Así que si en tus planes estaba suscribirte a Disney+ y luego darle tu contraseña a tus amigos o familiares, o al contrario, pedirle su clave a algún conocido para «probar el sistema», lo mejor es que comiences a desechar esta idea.
