El día de ayer se realizó la premiere de Eternals y al parecer tuvo una recepción que va de buena a mixta dentro de los afortunados que pudieron ver el filme. La película dirigida por Chloé Zhao cuenta con un cast muy diverso y con mucho bagaje fílmico, pero además la película es un tributo a uno de los dibujantes más icónicos de cómics de todas las épocas: Jack Kirby.
Lo anterior lo dijo Kevin Feige en una entrevista, con motivo precisamente de la premiere de la película, para The Hollywood Reporter. El Presidente de Marvel Studios dijo lo siguiente:
«Toda la película es una carta de amor a lo que un hombre pudo hacer con un lápiz, sentado en un pequeño escritorio en la costa este». Además de esto Feige mencionó: «Uno de los fastidios, se podría argumentar que hay muchos, de la línea de tiempo actual en la que vivimos, es que Jack Kirby falleció antes de poder ver nada de esto».
Para concluir el Presidente de Marvel mencionó que estaban muy orgullosos de la película y que si bien los 10 nuevos personajes son poco conocidos por el públco general esta película tiene todo el corazón de Jack Kirby.
