A lo largo del tiempo como luchadores de diferentes empresas estadounidenses pero sobre todo de WWE (Antigua WWF) han dado el salto al cine y series en Hollywood, casos existen muchos, por mencionar tres diremos  Dave “Batista” Bautista, John Cena o Dawyne “The Rock” Johnson siendo los más reconocidos y participativos en mega producciones en roles de tanto de actuación como de producción.

Y es que, aunque todos conocemos su carrera en Hollywood, es de destacar su camino previo y como usaron las herramientas que les dio la lucha libre.

Los tres luchadores han participado en el MCU y DCU respectivamente.

En una pequeña entrevista realizada al luchador nacional Kaiser y quien es una de las mentes maestras detrás de la empresa nacional Riot Wrestling Alliance (RWA), explicó un poco sobre ciertos puntos relacionados a la lucha libre, pero que bien se podrían trasladar a las historias de éxito de los actores y luchadores ya antes mencionados en Hollywood.

¿Qué se necesita inicialmente para ser luchador o luchadora y con que mentalidad se tiene que llegar?

Bueno lo primero es querer hacerlo. Esto, a pesar de que pueda llegar a ser un trabajo en otros países, no es algo que todo mundo esté dispuesto a hacer porque requiere mucho sacrificio tanto mental como físico y social. Te tiene que gustar sí o sí, y tiene que ser una pasión a tal grado de sacrificar cosas como tu cuerpo, tu tiempo, tu familia, etc. Luego necesitas tener determinación y ser disciplinado porque como en cualquier deporte, tenés que tener tu cuerpo en óptimas condiciones. El entrenamiento debe ser el adecuado pues esa puede hacer la diferencia entre lesionarte o durar mucho tiempo en el negocio. Y creo que lo más importante al final es tomar la decisión, en ocasiones, personas con muchos sueños y muchas metas no dan el primer paso.

¿Cómo sería el camino de alguien que vea la lucha libre como una oportunidad de fama en medios y redes sociales?

Sería un camino un poco largo y tormentoso meterse en lucha por fama.

¿Cómo es la creación de un personaje para un luchador y cómo se da el proceso?

Pues preparación. La construcción de un personaje no es solo quererlo. Tenés que saber como construirlo, como trabajarlo, como evolucionarlo. Nosotros en Star Wrestling Center, que es nuestro centro de entrenamiento, damos ese tipo de preparación, somos los únicos en el país y eso ha permitido que desde el inicio, muchos de nuestros personajes ya destaquen. No necesitamos que pasen años para que ellos entiendan cómo trabajar y eso eventualmente puede desencadenar en oportunidades en la medida de lo posible del crecimiento y visibilidad de nuestra empresa. Es un proceso natural.

Es así como podemos definir que la lucha libre es un deporte y un espectáculo que te pueden dar herramientas físicas, mentales, y creativas para poder dar el salto a otros ambientes como la actuación, pero se debe dar de forma natural y disciplinada para poder alcanzar el éxito total.
