Play N Trade es una cadena de tiendas canadienses y han comunicado que el precio del PS5 sería de 559.99 dólares canadienses, esto es un equivalente a 397.32 dólares estadounidenses, con lo cual se puede estimar que el precio final en Estados Unidos podría ser de máximo 399 dólares; unos 235 mil colones aproximadamente.
Claro, en cada país hay que sumar los gastos por impuestos y de operación de las tiendas, lo cual elevaría ese precio un poco más; pero si esta información es verídica, significaría que el PS5 se lanzaría prácticamente al mismo precio que se lanzó el PS4 en su momento y al mismo precio que posee PlayStation 4 Pro actualmente.
Las pistas que se pueden tomar en cuenta para reforzar esta información de Play N Trade, es que Sony Interactive Entertainment ya había mencionado que tenían todas las intenciones de lanzar una nueva consola lo más económica posible; sin embargo, no podemos olvidar la situación del coronavirus, la cual es capaz de modificar cualquier plan que tuviera cualquier compañía en los últimos meses.
