Cada vez falta menos tiempo para el estreno de la cuarta temporada de Rick y Morty. Ante esto, Adult Swim ha creado mucha más expectación revelando los títulos de los primeros cinco episodios de la temporada.
- Edge of ToMorty: Rick Die Rickpeat
- The Old Man and the Seat
- One Crew Over the Crewcoo’s Morty
- Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim’s Morty
- Rattlestar Ricklactica
Estos nombres de los episodios tienen una historia detrás de su escogencia. Por ejemplo: «Edge of ToMorty: Rick Die Rickpeat» es una referencia a Edge of Tomorrow, la película de Tom Cruise.
Por su parte, «The Old Man and the Seat» es una referencia a la novela de Ernest Hemingway, El Viejo y el Mar. Asimismo “One Crew Over the Crewcoo’s Morty” es una referencia a One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, una novela de 1962 de Ken Kesey, que después se convirtió en una película de culto protagonizada por Jack Nicholson.
Y ya para terminar tenemos a: «Claw and Hoarder: Special Rictim’s Morty» que es una referencia a la serie Law & Order. Así como «Rattlestar Ricklactica» la cual es una obvia referencia a Battlestar Galactica.
Estos títulos se revelaron mediante un video en Instagram al estilo de la secuencia inicial de Stranger Things; esto con el título de Rick y Morty alejándose de la cámaras mientras es seguido por el número de Temporada.
La Temporada 4 de Rick y Morty estará compuesta por 10 episodios en total y se estrena el 11 de noviembre.
