En su momento eso, sumado a la aparición de los Observadores (The Watchers) en el final de Guardians of the Galaxy 2 solo disparó los rumores del regreso de los 4 Fantasticos a Marvel y su inminente aparición en el MCU. No obstante nuevas revelaciones podrían revelar que su debut será antes pero en el universo de Fox. Si eres muy delicado con los spoilers, quédate hasta aquí en la noticia.
Los rumores revelan que los Skrull harán su debut cinematográfico en …. X-Men: Dark Phoenix! Que será estrenada 4 meses antes que la pelicula de Marvel. Las fuentes dicen que durante la filmación de varios personajes (Magneto, Cíclope, Jean Grey y Profesor X entre otros) en el edificio de las Naciones Unidas ellos son atacados por aliens.. mismos que no eran del Imperio Shi’ar sino de la raza Skrull.
Esto ha generado que en las redes sociales se genere la expectativa de que este evento sería el crossover que deseaba Stan Lee en unas declaraciones realizadas hace unas semanas, ya que tanto Captain Marvel como Dark Phoenix estarían ambientadas en los 90s. No obstante, la realidad parece mucho más simple… y desalentadora.
Kevin Faige, presidente de Marvel Studios, enfatizó que la raza Skull tiene «derechos compartidos» entre Fox y Marvel, por lo que ambos pueden usarlos; lo mismo pasa con los «Watchers». Eso si, personajes específicos de ambas razas como Uatu o el Super Skrull, si son propiedad exclusiva de Fox.
Así que de momento, eso explica la posible aparición de la raza en ambas franquicias… y nos arruina (más) tanto la esperanza de ver a los 4 Fantásticos en Marvel, como la esperanza (bastante irreal) de un crossover entre ambos universos.
