Como cuando tenés que revelar el lanzamiento de un videojuego debido a las filtraciones. Así le ha pasado a EA Star Wars, quienes luego de tantos rumores por fin han decidido hacer oficial el nuevo juego llamado ‘Star Wars: Squadrons’, antes llamado ‘Star Wars: Project Maverick’.
Electronic Arts confirmó el nuevo videojuego en su cuenta de Twitter luego de que más temprano Microsoft Store publicara (al parecer sin querer) la portada del mismo. Sin embargo, para ver el primer trailer sí habrá que esperar un par de días más, pues está programado para aparecer el 15 de junio.
Esta nueva entrega estará enfocada en combate de naves espaciales, en la primera imagen que nos ha mostrado EA, podemos ver a un par de pilotos, uno del bando de la Resistencia y otro del Imperio. También aparecer las icónicas naves de la franquicia TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, TIE Bomber y TIE Reaper.
Este juego representa una gran promesa para continuar el la buena imagen que dejó ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orden’ (de Respawn Entertainment), que no solo recibió el favor de la crítica, sino que logró superar las 8 millones de copias vendidas.
