Quienes gustan del trabajo de Dave Filoni en la franquicia de Star Wars, estarán encantados con esta noticia, pues se aproxima una nueva serie animada de este productor para la plataforma de Disney+. Se trata de ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’, que funcionará como un nuevo comienzo luego de la última temporada de ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’.
La serie se estrenará en 2021 en la plataforma streaming de Disney. Agnes Chu, vicepresidenta senior de contenido de Disney+, comunicó que están encantados de poner en esta nueva serie la visión de Dave Filoni y también comentó que la asociación con los animadores de Lucas Film apenas está iniciando, lo que indica que posiblemente vienen en camino muchos proyectos animados más. La serie sigue los clones de élite y experimentales de Bad Batch (introducidos por primera vez en The Clone Wars) a medida que se abren camino en una galaxia que cambia rápidamente después de la Guerra de los Clones. Los miembros de Bad Batch, un escuadrón único de clones que difieren genéticamente de sus hermanos en el Ejército Clon, poseen una habilidad excepcional singular que los convierte en soldados extraordinariamente efectivos y una tripulación formidable. En la era posterior a la Guerra de los Clones, tomarán audaces misiones mercenarias mientras luchan por mantenerse a flote y encontrar un nuevo propósito.
