Vamos a comenzar esta nota con una noticia no tan buena, pero la cerraremos con una que sí es bastante positiva. Hace poco terminó la segunda temporada de ‘The Mandalorian’ en Disney+ y ya todos quedamos con más ganas de ver lo que nos traerá la tercera, solo que quizá ahora tendríamos que esperar un poco más de lo habitual.
Entre el cierre de la primera temporada y el inicio de la segunda pasó más o menos un año, con lo cual algunos tenían la esperanza de que a finales de 2021 ya estaríamos disfrutando de la tercera parte. Lo que pasa es que ahora Dave Filoni y Jon Favreau estarán más ocupados, pues se vienen 3 series derivadas de ‘The Mandalorian’.
Estamos hablando de ‘Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic’, ‘Ahsoka’ y ‘The book of Boba Fett’. Estas tres producciones ya se encuentran en preparación y, en una entrevista reciente con Good Morning America, Jon Favreau explicó que veremos primero el estreno de la serie de Boba Fett antes de la tercera temporada de ‘The Mandalorian’.
Además, Favreau explicó que Dave Filoni será el principal encargado de la producción de la serie ‘Ahsoka’ y que ambos están trabajando también en ‘Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic’. Todo esto apunta a que la carga de trabajo para estos dos productores es tal que probablemente pase más de un año antes de que veamos nuevos episodios de la serie protagonizada por Pedro Pascal.
La buena noticia, como te dijimos al inicio, es que no queda duda que en los próximos años se viene una ola de nuevas producciones sobre Star Wars, ya que también recientemente se anunció la nueva serie derivada de ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, llamada ‘Andor’.
