Desde hace un tiempo surgieron varios rumores de que Tony Hawk llegaría a la consola de Nintendo y las sospechas aumentaron ayer con un intercambio de tweets que lo hacía más que evidente.
Siguiendo la noticia de que Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time llegaría a la nueva generación de consolas y al Nintendo Switch, la cuenta de Twitter del juego mencionó a la de Crash Bandicoot diciendo que estaban celosos de que ellos fueran a llegar al Switch y que si podían hacer algo para que ellos también estuvieran en la consola. Con respuestas de la cuenta de Crash, la de Nintendo y la de Activision, solo hacía falta la confirmación oficial. Incluso el mismo Tony Hawk ofreció hacerle a Crash una patineta personalizada si lograba meterlos a Nintendo.
Crash, cuyo botín de la marca Bandicoot apareció en Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 y 2 en noviembre pasado, aprovechó su influencia a cambio de una lección de patinaje personal del hombre pájaro original, lo que resultó en algunas bromas en Twitter entre los dos íconos de los videojuegos.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 llegará a PS5, Xbox Series X y Xbox Series S el 26 de marzo. Mientras que para Nintendo Switch aún no hay una fecha oficial, pero se anunció para más adelante en el 2021.
El regreso de dos de los mejores títulos de la franquicia fue lanzado para PS4 y Xbox One el año pasado.
