El año pasado, Warner Bros. Japón anunció que traería a las pantallas de cine una adaptación live-action del anime de temática sobrenatural favorito de muchos, Bleach. De hecho, durante el otoño compartió un teaser que, hasta la fecha, continúa siendo el único material que los fans han podido ver del filme. Sin embargo, sin trailer o no, para bien o para mal, la incursión de Bleach al gran formato ya tiene fecha de estreno.
La película será estrenada en Japón el 20 de julio de 2018, y aunque no se sabe si saldrá de sus fronteras y llegará a América, lo más probable es que al menos esté disponible en internet poco tiempo después.
De momento no se manejan muchos más detalles acerca de la adaptación. De hecho, ni siquiera hay una fecha tentativa para un trailer. No obstante, el creador de la historia original, Tite Kubo, dio una entrevista hace poco a TBS Radio donde comentaba que estaba muy complacido con el trabajo realizado en la película. «Para la adaptación live-action japonesa, nos hemos acercado mucho al trabajo original. Realmente estoy emocionado por verla», aseguró el escritor.
Así que tal vez Bleach logre ser la excepción a la regla sobre las adaptaciones live-action del anime. Ojalá sea una gran película y todos quedemos con ganas de más. La buena noticia es que no hay que esperar mucho tiempo para saber si será, porque a como va el año, julio está a la vuelta de la esquina. ¿Y ustedes van a verla?
