Coogler y su empresa Proximity Media habían firmado un contrato de televisión exclusivo por cinco años con Disney.
Recientemente, Florence Kasumba de Black Panther regresó como su personaje de Black Panther, Ayo, otra integrante de las Dora Milaje, en The Falcon and the Winter Soldier de Disney+.
