El director de Mad Max: Fury Road podría convertirse en el director de la secuela de Man of Steel. Por el momento no hay ninguna confirmación del rumor y solamente se sabe que Zack Snyder va a dirigir Justice League. Se supone que Miller iba a dirigir una película de la Liga de la Justicia en el 2008, por lo que podría tratarse de una negociación del director con Warner.
