El director de Mad Max: Fury Road podría convertirse en el director de la secuela de Man of Steel. Según el rumor que reporta Comicbook.com, el director Jon Schnepp, que recién estrenó el documental «The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?», afirma que Miller sería el encargado de dirigir el proyecto.
Por el momento no hay ninguna confirmación del rumor y solamente se sabe que Zack Snyder va a dirigir Justice League. Se supone que Miller iba a dirigir una película de la Liga de la Justicia en el 2008, por lo que podría tratarse de una negociación del director con Warner.
