Según The Hollywood Reporter, el proyecto camina a paso firme. Actualmente, Justin Lin (director), Andrew Dodge y Alfredo Botello se encuentran escribiendo el guion para la esperada secuela.
Lin es reconocido, principalmente, por dirigir cuatro entregas de la saga ‘Fast & Furious’. Además, fue el encargado de ‘Star Trek: Beyond’, que llegará a la gran pantalla en julio del presente año.
‘Space Jam’ se estrenó en 1996 y recaudó, a nivel mundial, $230.4 millones. En la misma, los Looney Tunes, sí, Bugs Bunny y compañía, son invadidos por unos extraterrestres que quieren esclavizarlos, pero logran negociar que todo se resuelva a través de un partido de baloncesto, para el cual reclutan a un retirado, y ahora jugador de béisbol, Michael Jordan. Con lo que no contaban estos excéntricos personajes, era que los extraterrestres, posteriormente conocidos como ‘Monstars‘, le robarían el talento a los mejores jugadores de la NBA.
Producto del éxito que significó la película, se lanzó un video juego para SEGA Saturn, PlayStation y PC muy similar, hasta cierto punto, al famoso ‘NBA Jam’.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
