La cuenta oficial de Jujutsu Kaisen en Twitter anunció hoy que una película basada en el manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0, el cual es una precuela, llegará este invierno. La producción de la animación estará a cargo de Studio MAPPA. Justo después del episodio final de la serie de Jujutsu Kaisen, el estudio anunció esta cinta.
Jujutsu Kaisen es un manga escrito e ilustrado por Gege Akutami, y narra las aventuras de Yuuji Itadori, un joven con habilidades sobrenaturales que forma parte de una escuela de hechicería. Comenzó en marzo de 2018 y todavía está en curso con 15 volúmenes hasta ahora. El anime está disponible en Crunchyroll.
Por su parte, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 fue una precuela lanzada en 2017, antes de que se serializara el manga, y es un one-shot, es decir, un solo volumen. La historia se titula Jujutsu Kaisen 0 – Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou. Que se puede traducir a Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Escuela Técnica de Magia Metropolitana de Tokio.
Mappa anunció que la película Jujutsu Kaisen 0 se lanzará en Japón en invierno. Esto significa entre noviembre o diciembre del 2021. Aún no se ha compartido una fecha de lanzamiento exacta.
