El WitcherCon organizado por Netflix y CD Projekt Red nos trajo varios paneles con miembros del elenco de la serie así como conversaciones con los creadores del juego, y como era de esperar, dejaron lo más importante para el cierre, el trailer de la temporada 2 llegó al final de la actividad, durante un panel con Henry Cavill.
Los primeros paneles nos dieron un vistazo a imágenes, posters y la revelación de la fecha de estreno que será el 17 de diciembre. Además, se revelaron los títulos y logos de cada episodio (menos el último) que por ahora es secreto.
La convención virtual también nos trajo información de The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, una película de anime de Witcher sobre el mentor de Geralt, Vesemir. El anime de Studio Mir se estrena el 23 de agosto. También nos dieron un vistazo dentro de Kaer Morhen, que aparece tanto en los juegos como en la serie. El anime representará una conexión entre el pasado y el presente.
Además de las producciones animadas y en live-action, la convención de Witcher trajo información sobre la figura de Geralt de Dark Horse, que se podrá pre-ordenar el 23 de julio.
Por su parte, también hubo actualizaciones sobre los videojuegos. La saga recibirá un versión de nueva generación que llegará a PS5, Xbox Series X/S y PC este año e incluye algunos DLC gratuitos inspirados en la serie de Netflix. Además hubo una breve sección sobre The Witcher Monster Slayer, el juego para móviles que llegará de forma gratuita a iOS y Android el 21 de julio.
Para quienes no pudieron sintonizar el stream, esta será repetida esta noche, en otra transmisión a las 7 PM (hora Costa Rica), 6 PM (PT time), que repetirá algunos de los páneles pero también promete traernos más contenido exclusivo. Lo podrán ver por acá:
