El día de ayer, Netflix y Dreamworks anunciaron toda una gama de nuevas colaboraciones animadas en las que estarían trabajando para la plataforma de streaming. Entre ellas, la más interesante resulta ser el reboot de la serie de She-Ra, la legendaria Princesa del Poder.

La nueva versión estará a cargo de Noelle Stevenson, la co-creadora de la serie de cómics ganadora del premio Eisner, Lumberjanes, y será una nueva iteración del clásico spinoff de He-Man.
«[Este] ícono del poder femenino rompe esquemas originalmente debutó en 1985 para satisfacer la increíble demanda de más series de fantasía lideradas por mujeres. Con la voz única de Stevenson a la cabeza, los fans están a la espera de una épica y atinada [para la actualidad] historia que celebra la amistad y el empoderamiento femenino, liderada por una princesa guerrera hecha a la medida para [lo que se vive] hoy día», indica la descripción oficial publicada en conjunto por Netflix y Dreamworks.
Además de She-Ra, la colaboración plantea una secuela a la película Trolls, llamada Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, y otra para la película Boss Baby (Mi Jefe en Pañales), situadas luego de sus respectivos filmes. Además, una adaptación animada de la serie Captain Underpants (Capitán Calzoncillos) está en camino. También se anunció una historia completamente nueva llamada Harvey Street Kids y la tercera y última temporada de Trollhunters, la producción de Guillermo del Toro, así como otra narrativa dentro del mundo compartido de Trollhunters, 3 Below.
