Las venturas cinematográficas de Transformers cada vez van de mal en peor.
a han pasado 10 años desde que nos emocionamos cuando un pre-hipster Shia LaBeouf descubrió que su carro hablaba, entre otras habilidades. Pero ahora parece que el anuncio de una nueva película de Transformers es únicamente sinónimo de robots cada vez más gigantes, explosiones cada vez más sin sentido e historias cada día más flojas.
Sin embargo, la nueva película de la serie, Bumblebee: The Movie, promete dejar atrás todo eso y regresar literalmente al pasado para recuperar lo que emocionó a los fans en primer instancia. Esta vez la trama se situará en los ochentas, donde el clásico Bumblebee VW Beetle de 1987 entablará una relación cercana con una joven mecánica adolescente que descubre el secreto del auto amarillo.
El filme será protagonizado por Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect, Ender’s Game), y además contará con la participación de John Cena. Se espera que su lanzamiento sea dentro de un año, pero desde ya tenemos un primer vistazo al reinicio de la saga de Transformers.
